Terms of Use
The short version. Aerial Report helps you document what you see from a drone. It is not a licensed inspection, an engineering assessment or an insurance determination. You review and stand behind every report you deliver, and you fly within the law.
1. These terms
By downloading or using Aerial Report (“the app”), you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add to the Standard EULA; where they differ, these terms apply to the extent the law allows. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
2. Plans and subscriptions
- The app is free to download and includes three free reports. Free reports carry a watermark.
- Aerial Report Pro removes the watermark, lifts the report limit and unlocks Pro features such as Follow-ups and Business exports. It is offered as a monthly or a yearly auto-renewing subscription, at the price shown in the App Store before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If prices change, Apple will notify you as its rules require before the new price applies.
3. What a report is, and what it isn’t
Reports made with the app record what was visible in your photos and videos on the day of the flight. They are visual drone inspections. They are not a licensed home or building inspection, a structural or engineering assessment, a roof or solar warranty evaluation, or an insurance determination. They can’t show what wasn’t visible, such as hidden damage, leaks or the condition under coverings.
The app may suggest defects, captions and report text using artificial intelligence. Suggestions can be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing, correcting and confirming every finding and every word in a report before you deliver it, and for the disclaimer you include.
4. Your responsibilities
- Flying. Operate your drone under the laws and rules that apply where you fly, such as those of Mexico’s AFAC or the United States’ FAA, including registration, licences, airspace and safety rules.
- Permission and privacy. Get the owner’s or occupant’s permission to fly over and photograph a property, and respect the privacy of neighbours and the public.
- Client information. Have your clients’ consent to store their contact details and handle that information lawfully, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Your services. You, not Aerial Report, provide the inspection to your client and are responsible for your agreement with them and for what you tell them.
5. Your content
Your photos, findings, branding and reports belong to you. They are stored on your device and in your own iCloud storage, and we don’t receive them. Keep backups of anything important; the app and iCloud can’t guarantee against loss.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use the app to break the law, to infringe others’ rights, to photograph people or property without permission, or to produce reports you know to be false or misleading. Don’t copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app except as the law expressly allows.
7. Availability and changes
Some features depend on your device, its operating system or Apple services, for example Apple Intelligence, Private Cloud Compute and iCloud, and may not be available on every device, in every region or at all times. We may change, add or remove features over time.
8. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of results and uninterrupted operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from the app or from any report made with it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
