Aerial Report

Privacy Policy

Effective October 31, 2026

The short version. Aerial Report has no account, no server and no tracking. What you put in the app stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage. We never receive your jobs, photos, clients or reports.

Who we are

Aerial Report (“the app”, “we”) is an iPhone and iPad app for drone pilots who inspect roofs and solar installations and deliver branded PDF reports. Questions about this policy go to contacto@dronologic.com.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. We don’t run a server that the app talks to, so we have no copy of anything you create.

What the app stores, and where

To do its job, the app keeps what you enter or import:

This is stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on for the app, it is also synced to your private iCloud database through Apple’s CloudKit, so it appears on your other devices. Imported videos stay on the device where you imported them and are not synced. Data in iCloud is held by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy; we can’t access it.

Photos and files

The app only sees the photos, videos and files you pick in the photo picker, the Files app or by drag and drop. It reads their metadata to place photos on the map, pair thermal images and fill in flight details.

Location

When you tap “Use current location” for a property address, the app asks for location access while in use and takes one position fix. If you’re online, Apple’s Maps service turns that position into a street address, which means the coordinates are sent to Apple. The result is saved only as that property’s address. The app never tracks your location in the background.

Artificial intelligence

Filling branding from your website

If you use “Fill from my website”, the app downloads the home page you typed and its logo directly from that website, without sending cookies or anything about you. Like any web visit, that website’s server sees an ordinary request from your device, including its IP address.

Sending reports and exporting data

When you send a report or a follow-up offer, the app opens Mail, Messages, AirDrop, Files or the share sheet with the message ready. Delivery is handled by those apps and services, not by us. Exports (CSV, ZIP archives and training data) are files you create and share yourself; nothing is uploaded to us automatically.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app only learns from Apple whether your subscription is active. Apple gives developers sales reports that don’t identify you.

Diagnostics

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device’s settings (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share crash reports and aggregated usage statistics with us. These don’t identify you, and you can turn the setting off at any time.

Your clients’ information

When you store details about your clients and photograph their properties, you decide what is collected and why. You are responsible for having their permission and for handling their information under the privacy laws that apply to you. In Mexico that includes the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares.

Keeping and deleting your data

Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to keep, sell or delete on our side.

Children

The app is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s handling of data changes, we will update this page and its effective date before the change ships. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
